Read Siemens and Tittenberger's Handbook of Emerging Technologies for Learning – elearnspace (esp. pp. 1-34; you may skim through the remaining sections)
Questions to respond to on your blog:
1. Who is George Siemens? What has he been advocating in the last 10 years or so? (You will need to do a little research here; don't spend too much time on this though.)
2. How does he characteristize/summarize the nature of learning in the 21st century? To what extent do you identify with his description in terms of your own learning and your students'?
3. Which of the four models of teaching/learning (Atelier Learning, Network Administrator, Concierge Learning and Curatorial Learning) do you think is applicable to music teaching/learning?
